Two specimens featuring Azurite crystals having undergone various stages of alteration to Malachite; the left piece is more or less an even split between Malachite pseudomorphed after Azurite and unadulterated royal blue Azurite crystals all on a Limonite matrix, while the piece on the right sports a few isolated crystals of fully pseudomorphed Malachite after Azurite, complete with a lovely chatoyancy the material is known for, on a contrasting bubbly Limonite matrix as well. Both pieces has a couple Calcite rhombs to finish it all off. Not seen often from the Ojuela Mine, so don’t miss these!
