Description

1.7 x 1.1 x .8 cm

Rich pink Elbaite Tourmaline cabochon from the famed Stewart Mine of California! This locality started off during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s as a major source for lithium, as massive amounts of Lepidolite occurred at the mine. Later, the mine grew increasingly famous for its gem Tourmaline production, along with Garnet and other minerals. These would look beautiful in a wrap, or stunning if set in traditional jewelry. Don’t skip this one! The color is INTENSE, dare I say even bordering on true Rubellite in saturation! A true gem!
