Terminated and well formed Quartz crystals here and there on a Galena matrix. What’s interesting about Tsumeb is that a few common minerals such as Quartz, Galena, Pyrite, and a few others are actually quite uncommon at the mine! This may not look it, at first glance, but this is rather a good example of uncommon minerals at the mine! One of the richest ore bodies in the world, the Tsumeb Mine produced millions of tons of metallic ores as well as numerous varieties of minerals, in all sorts of combinations! Common minerals uncommon from Tsumeb are some of the main species collectors go for from this locale. This is a keeper for sure!
