The best specimen in the whole auction, hands down. A true British classic here! Mimetite var. Campylite crystals with wonderfully wet vitreous luster and a vibrant burnt orange color that blends into a yellow with hint of green in a couple places. The crystals have the classic rounded barrel shape and contrast nicely with the dark Coronadite atop Quartz matrix. The luster though is really something to be beheld. It looks as if someone oiled the piece – that’s how good it is! The area is now closed for good, as nature has reclaimed much of this world class locality! Don’t let this one slip by for such a bargain!
