Sharp cluster of hoppered octahedral Marcasite crystals with a subdued brassy luster, perched atop a soft, earthy matrix – probably a clay or siltsone, specifically. It is unusual to have such a well preserved Marcasite specimen, as many are pseudomorphed by Limonite or crumble if exposed over time…
