Calcified Clam shell from Ruck’s Pit, Florida

Now here’s a fossil I can root for! Golden honey colored Calcite crystals have replaced the fleshy portion of a clam while the shell has been replaced by white Calcite. These are sharp, gemmy xtls that are aesthetically perched pointed outwards from the interior of a partial shell. This piece displays wonderfully as pictured!
