Here we have a vibrant specimen of rare “primary” Malachite crystals in an aesthetic cluster from the Emke Mine! Solid form with a rich velvety texture on this piece. Firstly, “primary” Malachite refers to Malachite that has formed recognizable crystals of its own accord – without pseudomorphing after Azurite crystals which is normally the case. The Emke Mine of Onganja is a locality that is often overshadowed by the famous Tsumeb mine to the north. This is a very underrated, uncommon locality and a fantastic Malachite specimen! Displays great from multiple angles!
