Grossular Garnet crystal from Lake Jaco, Mexico

Unusual that this Garnet specimen does not have a dark green core with a pink outer shell, given the locality. There is some damaged areas, but the crystal itself is quite large for the locale and the color is very much uncommon. A neat piece from a unique find!
