A few cyclically twinned Cerussite crystals pepper this specimen, though the headliner is the metallic Galena that dominates the piece! Common elsewhere, Galena is a rarity from the Tsumeb mine. What makes this piece special is that there’s so much of it! One of the richest ore bodies in the world, the Tsumeb Mine produced millions of tons of metallic ores as well as numerous varieties of minerals, in all sorts of combinations!
