Hundreds of sparkling rhombohedral Calcite crystals coat a stalactitic Mottramite matrix, making for an odd contrast in textures. Definitely unusual, but then again unusual is the usual for Tsumeb! One of the richest ore bodies in the world, the Tsumeb Mine produced millions of tons of metallic ores as well as numerous varieties of minerals, in all sorts of combinations!
