Showy cluster of lustrous ferro-Axinite crystals with sharp form and a lovely violet/brown coloring. There really isn’t much matrix save for at the very bottom, as the piece seems to be composed primarily of a solid Axinite cluster. This is also a double-sided piece; the other side exhibiting a frosted appearance on much of the Axinites, which actually looks more and more like an inclusion or sub-surface alteration… Either way, this is a very desirable and large display piece that you just don’t see everyday!
