Beautiful Peterisite cabochon with contrasting sections of blue and yellow. Peterisite is actually metamorphosed Tiger’s Eye! So instead of having uniform banding, the Tiger’s Eye underwent tremendous pressure and temperatures as it was stretched, squeezed, and even twisted – resulting in the jumbled patterning of what we call Peterisite, as seen here!
